The International Gymnastics Federation FIG and the International Federation for Equestrian Sports FEI are just two of the official partners of the Swiss watch manufacturer "Longines". The company was founded in 1832 in Saint-Imier in the Swiss Jura and is one of the oldest registered watch companies in the world. The slogan "Elegance is an Attitude" is reflected in the timelessly elegant models of this brand.
The winged hourglass logo has been the official symbol of Longines since 1889 and can be discovered on every watch from 1867 onwards. This registration, which took place in 1893 with the International Intellectual Property Authority, made the egg timer symbol the oldest active trademark symbol in the world.
It was more than just the design that helped Longines achieve its international success. The art of watchmaking, which looks back on over 180 years of experience, played an important role in this development. Longines is now represented in 140 countries, which is not particularly surprising. The highlights of the collection are the "Longines Conquest" and the classic "Master Collection".
Today you can visit a Longines museum in Saint-Imier and see how chronographs, pocket watches and of course wristwatches were made and developed. If you don't like to travel that far, we invite you to visit us in DRUBBA MOMENTS at Lake Titisee, where you will find the current collection.
